Customer Services Adviser Central Sheffield From £20,000 + annual bonus Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Mon – Sun 8.00am to 8.00pm shifts) with opportunity for over time Overview My client is a fully compliant and a licensed U.K. based finance company providing short term loan products. They are looking for a number of customer services advisers to join the team in their central Sheffield office, located opposite the railway station and bus depot. The business has ambitious growth plans, offering excellent opportunities for promotion for those joining at this early stage. The Role This is unrivalled opportunity to join a vibrant and rapidly expanding team as a Call Centre Agent. You need to be able to demonstrate a good understanding of front-line customer service and will become the first point of contact between My Finance Club and potential or existing customers. You will be working on up to date and delinquent accounts with the aim of delivering both in a customer service role and collecting any arrears, ensuring that sustainable and affordable repayment plans are agreed. The ideal agent will be able to strike a balance between providing a high level of customer service, problem resolution and collection of outstanding debt. You will be flexible in your approach and enjoy working in a challenging, fast-moving environment with a desire to resolve queries quickly and efficiently at the first point of contact. Duties & Responsibilities Deal competently and efficiently with high volumes of Collections calls and Customer Service calls, inbound and outbound, via manual and auto-diallingSupport to the team manager and colleagues as requiredAttend team meetings providing productive and proactive suggestionsAct as a first point of contact for our CustomersHandling complaints from customers with the aim of first call resolutionReview and respond to correspondence from CustomersFollow up calls to potential Customers who have shown an interest in our productProcessing payments received and tracing missing remittances as requiredOperate in line with all FCA and other key finance industry regulations and lawsTake ownership for personal development objectives Skills & Experience Required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a first class telephone manner and the ability to deal with customers in a confident wayThe ability to work well in a team environmentComfortable at working to both team and individual targets in a fast paced environmentExperience within a contact centre/call centre environmentCollections experience (or similar e.g. claims management) is desirableEfficient, organised and works well under pressure or time constraintsUnderstanding of assessing affordability, for example using income & expenditure formsExperience of working on a diallerExcellent Customer Service skills showing confidence in Customer interactionBasic user level in Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Next Steps If you have experience in a customer services role, are numerate and live in Sheffield or the surrounding area then we would love to hear from you.
