Summary

We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as one of our Deputy manager's who will also be room based as a room leader. A maternity cover room leader post is also available. These roles are vital in supporting our mission to deliver high-quality care and education to young children while fostering a positive environment for staff and families.
Responsibilities

• Assist in the leadership and management in daily nursery operations, ensuring high standards of care and education.
\n
• Support and supervise nursery staff, promoting professional development.
\n
• Plan and implement engaging activities tailored to children's developmental needs.
\n
• Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians.
\n
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and health & safety regulations.
\n
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of nursery practices.
\n
• Assist in managing administrative tasks related to staffing and resources.
\n
• Qualifications
\n
• Proven experience in managing or leading within a childcare or nursery setting.
\n
• Strong leadership and management skills.
\n
• Excellent communication skills in English.
\n
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles.
\n
• Valid childcare or management qualifications (preferred).
\n
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
\n
• Driving license (desirable but not essential).

Experience:

• Nursery nurse or Teaching: 3 years (required)
\n
• Leadership: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Level 3 Early Years Childcare Qualification minimum (required)
