Fire and Security Engineer Huddersfield

Location: Huddersfield

£30,000 – £38,000 DOE plus overtime, bonus, and standby payments

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Fire & Security Service Engineer to join our growing team across Huddersfield and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding, and repairing a range of fire and security systems across commercial sites.

• Service, maintenance, and fault diagnosis of:
  • Fire Alarms
  • CCTV Systems
  • Intruder Alarms
  • Access Control Systems
• Ensure all works are completed to industry standards and customer expectations
• Participate in a 1 in 12 call-out rota
• Complete electronic job reports and documentation
• Deliver a high level of customer service at all times

• Previous experience in the Fire & Security industry
• Strong knowledge of fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills
• FIA/Tavcom training is beneficial but not essential

• Company EV van (available for personal use)

• £2,000 annual KPI bonus paid quarterly
• Overtime paid after 40 hours:
  • x1.5 Monday–Saturday
  • x2 Sundays & Bank Holidays
• £180 standby allowance per 7-day call-out period
• Door-to-door travel paid on call-outs
• Paid travel time (excluding first and last 30 minutes of the day)
