Health and Safety Manager – Construction – Doncaster – £55,0000 - £60,0000 + expenses + benefits OUR CLIENT Is a leading global company that designs, supplies and installs process equipment for a vast array of industries. They are in the throws of another large project that will require a site based Health and Safety professional to oversee all aspects of the construction phase and subsequent operational phase. THE ROLE The position of Health and Safety Manager will be well suited to a Safety professional with a construction background. You will serve as the primary coordinator for the buildings principal contractor, clients, construction supervisor, project managers and installation teams. You will ensure that all operations are in line with statutory requirements and company policies in terms of health, safety, environmental protection, and quality standards. You will conduct periodic checks to ensure adherence to these policies and specifically support Projects with Construction, Design & Management Regulations following construction phased plans (CPP). THE PERSON You will be an experienced construction health and safety professional with a NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction qualification and a CSCS card. Although the role will be based out of Doncaster for the first year there maybe similar projects to manage in the North of England and subsequent monitoring of Health and Safety stands post commissioning. Therefore, you will be an independent self starter with sound judgement and strong leadership skills
