Interim Quality and Compliance Manager (FTC)

Cotswolds Fixed-Term Contract (6 months)

Are you an experienced Quality and Compliance professional with a strong background in apprenticeships, funding compliance, and Ofsted readiness?

\n

We are seeking an Interim Quality and Compliance Manager to join a growing apprenticeship and training provider based in the Cotswolds. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key leadership role, driving quality improvement, ensuring compliance excellence, and supporting inspection readiness across apprenticeship provision. 

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Lead and coordinate Ofsted readiness activities across apprenticeship provision.
  • \n
  • Support the organisation through Ofsted inspections and quality reviews.
  • \n
  • Conduct quality assurance audits, reviews, and sampling activities.
  • \n
  • Develop and monitor Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs).
  • \n
  • Carry out funding compliance audits in line with ESFA funding rules.
  • \n
  • Analyse quality and performance data to identify risks and drive improvement.
  • \n
  • Support the development of Self-Assessment Reports (SARs).
  • \n
  • Provide coaching, support, and challenge to operational teams and managers. 
  • \n

About You

\n

We are looking for someone who has:

\n
    \n
  • Significant experience within apprenticeship and training provision.
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted's Education Inspection Framework.
  • \n
  • Extensive understanding of ESFA funding rules and apprenticeship compliance.
  • \n
  • Experience conducting audits, compliance monitoring, and quality assurance reviews.
  • \n
  • Proven experience supporting or leading an Ofsted inspection.
  • \n
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. 
  • \n

Desirable Experience

\n
    \n
  • DSL qualification or safeguarding leadership experience.
  • \n
  • Experience quality assuring Accountancy and/or HR apprenticeship programmes.
  • \n
  • Experience producing or contributing to SARs.
  • \n
  • Relevant quality, compliance, education, or leadership qualifications.
  • \n
