As a Laboratory Technician, you will be happy to follow our procedures and processes, embrace health and safety, as well as ensure that all data is accurately recorded and completed on time for the client. You’ll have a willingness to learn and focus on delivering a quick and accurate service to our clients. Responsibilities: To produce test results in accordance with the documented procedures, standards and specifications. To ensure testing/calibration activities are maintained in compliance with the Companys Quality Assurance requirements. To ensure that the laboratory working areas are safe, clean and tidy environments in which to work. To commit to ensuring the confidentiality of all customer information obtained or created during the performance of laboratory activities, except as required by law To work in a safe manner that is in accordance with the Company Health & Safety Policy. To carry out allocated work in accordance with documented in-house procedures, in an expeditious manner. To integrate into the team and maintain a strong harmony and morale throughout the laboratory. About you: We are looking for you to develop in to the role by undertaking an agreed structured training program, so that in time you will develop an understanding and knowledge of a wide range of preparation and analysis techniques in the laboratory environment. Good IT skills - Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages e.g. Excel. Interested in science and laboratory testing Maintain good laboratory practice at all times, following methods, standard operating procedures, local rules and regulations, maintain equipment and safe working procedures. Ensure compliance with the Health and Safety requirements of the department at all times.
