Teaching Assistant vacancy\n\nLocation: Maidenhead\n\nPay: Scale 3 point 6 £21,367 – Scale 4 point 11 £23,137 + £1,177 SEN allowance pa (Actual)\n\nPlus a £100 welcome payment on successful completion of your 6 months’ probation\n\nFull time: Monday and Tuesday 08.45 to 16.30, Wednesday Thursday and Friday 08.45 to 15.15\n\nPart-time vacancies available working, 2, 3 or 4 days each week\n\nDo you have that caring, compassionate side to you that would positively contribute to the well-being and mental health of children and young people?\n\nHere at Teaching Personnel we are looking for energetic, pro-active people to support at one of our SEND schools in Maidenhead.\n\nThis is a permanent opportunity.\n\nSchool experience preferred but not essential - other education experience considered.\n\nAll applicants must:\n\n- Have an understanding of Autism\n\n- Have good organisational skills\n\n- Have good communication skills\n\n- Have good levels of literacy and numeracy\n\n- Be able to use ICT effectively\n\nWhat would my responsibilities be?\n\n-          Support children and young people inside and outside the classroom\n\n-          Help with any reading or writing\n\n-          Support the lead class Teacher in preparing classrooms for the day\n\n-          Supervise lunch times\n\n-          Prepare any resources needed for the lesson (pens/pencils/books/worksheets) as instructed by the Teacher.\n\n-          Liaise any observations on children and young people throughout the day to the appropriate people.\n\n-          Provide feedback on how learning is going\n\n-          Work 1 to 1 or in small groups if needed\n\n-          Contribute to sensory activities\n\nIf you are interested in this role, please get in contact with an updated CV ASAP!\n\nAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
