Adecco Workington are recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a successful and growing engineering business based in Carlisle.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineering professional to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment where you will play a key role in supporting production processes, improving systems and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and accurately.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting manufacturing systems and engineering processes
• Creating and maintaining bills of materials and shop orders
• Assisting with production planning and technical documentation
• Working closely with design, production and purchasing teams
• Supporting quality assurance and continuous improvement activities
• Managing engineering data and system updates
• Assisting with inventory and manufacturing process control

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience within manufacturing or engineering environments
• Experience using ERP or PMRP systems such as SAP, IFS or similar
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively across multiple departments
• A proactive and positive approach to work
