A highly regarded Legal 500 firm in London is seeking a Marine Associate to join its established and growing shipping and marine team. The Role

From a recruitment perspective, this position offers exposure to a broad range of marine and shipping matters, including:

• Advising shipowners, insurers, charterers, P&I clubs, and logistics companies on marine disputes and transactional matters
• Handling shipping litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution proceedings
• Advising on charterparty disputes, cargo claims, marine insurance matters, and vessel arrests
• Drafting and reviewing shipping contracts and commercial agreements
• Supporting clients on regulatory and compliance matters within the maritime sector
• Managing cases from instruction through to resolution
• Working closely with international clients and multi-jurisdictional teams
• Contributing to business development and maintaining strong client relationships

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in marine, shipping, or commercial litigation matters
• Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills
