\n A leading multidisciplinary contractor delivering mechanical, electrical, FM, and small works projects is looking for a Mechanical Estimator to strengthen their pre-construction capability in Milton Keynes.\n
\n The role involves producing competitive mechanical tenders across HVAC, plumbing, heating, and associated building services systems within commercial environments. You will work closely with internal delivery teams to ensure accurate, commercially viable bids that align with project requirements and client expectations.\n
\n Key Responsibilities\n
\n

\n
• Prepare mechanical estimates from drawings and specifications
\n
• Conduct detailed take-offs and cost analysis
\n
• Price labour, materials, plant, and subcontract packages
\n
• Liaise with suppliers and negotiate competitive rates
\n
• Support bid submissions and tender documentation
\n
• Provide value engineering input during pre-construction
\n
• Work closely with project delivery teams for buildability input
\n
• Maintain cost records and market benchmarking data
\n

Requirements\n
\n

\n
• Experience as a Mechanical Estimator in building services / M&E
\n
• Background in commercial construction, FM, or fit-out environments
\n
• Strong technical understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems
\n
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical specs
\n
• Strong commercial and analytical skills
\n
