Mobile / Bench Engineer (Multiskilled)\n\n📍 Regional Role (Mobile & Site Cover)\n🏢 Pareto FM\n🕒 Monday – Friday, 8am–5pm (flexibility required)\n\nPareto FM is looking for a Multiskilled Mobile / Bench Engineer to support maintenance delivery across a regional portfolio of sites.\n\nThis is a varied, hands-on role where no two days look the same. You’ll provide cover across both mobile and static sites — supporting planned maintenance, reactive works, and tenant requirements — ensuring all building services are safe, compliant, and fully operational.\n\nWhile electrically biased, this role requires a well-rounded engineer who is comfortable working across wider M&E and building services.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou’ll be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance while supporting the wider contract team across multiple sites.\n\nThis includes stepping in to cover sickness, holidays, and workload peaks, ensuring continuity of service and maintaining high standards across all locations.\n\nYou’ll work closely with Supervisors, Managers, and a regional team of around 30+ engineers and support staff, with regular communication through team meetings, calls, and group channels.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n• Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across M&E systems\n• Maintain and repair mechanical and electrical plant and associated equipment\n• Carry out fault finding across building services systems, including HVAC and BMS diagnostics\n• Ensure plant operates efficiently and maintains safe environmental conditions\n• Complete simPRO tasks accurately, including job updates and photographic evidence\n• Maintain logbooks and compliance records across electrical, mechanical, and water systems\n• Support statutory maintenance and escalate issues where tasks cannot be completed\n• Monitor subcontractor performance during specialist works\n• Carry out small installation and repair works as required\n• Conduct regular plant room and site checks to ensure safety, cleanliness, and performance\n• Identify and report risks, hazards, or system inefficiencies\n• Communicate effectively with clients, end users, and internal teams\n• Isolate and make safe electrical and pressure systems where required\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\n• Electrical City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent building services qualification)\n• 18th Edition (essential)\n• Strong experience in building services / M&E maintenance\n• Multiskilled capability across electrical and mechanical systems\n• Knowledge of HVAC, BMS, and associated plant\n• Experience using CAFM systems (simPRO desirable)\n• Good understanding of statutory compliance and safe working practices\n• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability\n• Full UK driving licence\n\nAbout You\n\n• Proactive, reliable, and well organised\n• Comfortable working independently across multiple sites\n• Strong communicator with a professional approach\n• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities\n• A team player who supports wider contract delivery\n\nTraining & Progression\n\nThere are genuine opportunities for development, with access to statutory and task-specific training to support your ongoing growth within the business.\n\nWhy Join Pareto FM?\n\n• Varied role across multiple sites — no two days the same\n• Strong regional team support (30+ engineers and support staff)\n• Clear communication and structured management support\n• Opportunity to develop a broad, multiskilled engineering profile\n• A business that values flexibility, teamwork, and quality delivery
