Remote Clinical Negligence Solicitor

I’m currently working with a highly respected regional law firm that is looking to appoint a Clinical Negligence Lawyer to join its established claimant team.

This is an excellent opportunity to handle a varied and high-quality caseload within a supportive and progressive environment, with the flexibility of fully remote working following an initial onboarding period in North Yorkshire.

The Role

You will manage a broad caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters, supporting clients through complex and often life-changing claims. The work includes:

• Catastrophic injury claims, including spinal and brain injuries
• Cerebral palsy cases
• Fatal accident claims
• Claims involving hospitals and medical professionals
• Other serious and high-value injury matters

You will oversee matters from inception to conclusion, including:

• Reviewing and analysing medical records
• Instructing medical experts and counsel
• Taking witness statements
• Negotiating settlements
• Issuing and progressing court proceedings where necessary

The team is recognised for its exceptional client care and sensitive approach to individuals facing challenging circumstances, making empathy and professionalism key to this role.

Working Arrangements

The position offers long-term fully remote working. However, during the initial onboarding and training period, attendance at the North Yorkshire office will be required for the first couple of months to support integration into the team.

About You

The successful candidate will:

• Have a strong Personal Injury background, ideally with 1–5 years’ PQE and exposure to Clinical Negligence matters
• Demonstrate a proactive, positive and commercially minded approach
• Build strong and trusted client relationships
• Deliver outstanding client care, particularly to vulnerable individuals
• Ideally have some involvement in business development or marketing activities

You will be a collaborative team player who can quickly become part of a supportive and successful environment.
