Room Leader

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Room Leader to join the team in Leatherhead, Surrey. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-quality early year's provider, offering a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating environment where children can learn, play, and grow. You will provide a high standard of care and education to the children placed within our care. We are also looking for candidates who are keen for career progression and move into management positions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver activities that meet children's developmental needs
\n
• Provide a safe, nurturing, stimulating environment in line with EYFS standards
\n
• Monitor, record, and celebrate milestones in children's development
\n
• Communicate effectively with families to build strong relationships
\n
• Lead and support colleagues to maintain high-quality care and learning
\n
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding and child protection policies
\n
• Provide a rich and enabling environment for all learners
\n

The successful Nursery Room Leader will be required to:

\n
• Full & relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification – essential
\n
• Previous experience in an Early Years setting (ideally as a Room Leader, experienced Nursery Practitioner or Early Years Educator)
\n
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and child protection
\n
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for early childhood education
\n
• A commitment to delivering the highest standards of care
\n
