Senior Solution Consultant Pre-sales (Banking)

You will work together to uncover prospect requirements, identify product functionality gaps and develop, recommend, and package the best possible products/solutions and/or services for client prospects through sales presentations and product demonstrations.Being adept in the banking world and financial industry, you will be able to use past experience to leverage on “best of breed” solutioning for prospects.We will be looking for you to...To provide domain knowledge to support sales representatives in qualification of FIS banking prospects and developing the opportunity through to contract.To be fully conversant with, and informed of, evolving banking industry trendsTo work with the internal product organisation to define emerging propositionsTo provide expert solution consultancy and own the individual client solutionCreate and maintain product presentationsDevelop and present proposals to Business Review for approvalDevelop appropriate proposals to meet client/prospect business requirementsIdentify and prioritise functionality gaps with sales representatives and clients/prospects and initiate the process to obtain estimates to address functionality gaps or define appropriate workaroundsInteract with vendors and other organisations, where appropriate, to evaluate third-party vendor opportunities and solutionsParticipate in business requirements reviews with clients/prospectsPlay an integral role in the sales process utilising your SME knowledge of products, and their capabilities, to assist sales executives in addressing client/prospect requirementsProvide direction to sales support team for creation and packaging of proposalsProvide feedback on client/prospect requirements to FIS product managers on regularly scheduled basisProvide input to appropriate sections of requests for proposal (RFPs) and requests for information (RFI)Set up and deliver product presentations/demonstrations/Proof of Concepts to clients/prospects either in person or via web-based toolsWhat you bring to our team:Expert business and technical knowledge of retail and commercial banking technology environments Understanding of the wider universal banking environment and how retail/commercial banking fits in to the wider banking landscapeUnderstanding of the business flow, regulatory requirements and technical requirements to support retail/commercial banking operationsUnderstanding of PSD2/Open Banking and implications to retail banksExperience of supporting “as a service” propositions and public cloud hosting environmentsClient focusedEffective communicationFamiliarity with competitors and their products & servicesKnowledge of financial services industryPresentation skillsProject management (Bid management)Willingness to travelWhat we offer you:A multifaceted job with a high degree of responsibility and a broad spectrum of opportunitiesA modern, international work environment and a dedicated and motivated teamA broad range of professional education and personal development possibilities – FIS is your final career step!A competitive salary/bonus and benefitsA variety of career development tools, resources and opportunitiesThe chance to work on some of the most challenging, relevant issues in financial services & technology#LI-TC1Privacy StatementFIS is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal information that we process in order to provide services to our clients.
