Site Engineer

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Site Engineer to join a major civil engineering and infrastructure project based in the East Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and driven individual who can take ownership on site and help drive works forward safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Setting out and surveying using a Leica TS16\n\n * Managing and completing QA documentation and quality records\n\n * Producing and reviewing ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans)\n\n * Overseeing drainage and associated civil engineering works\n\n * Working closely with site management and subcontractors\n\n * Ensuring works are completed in line with drawings and specifications\n\n * Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and quality\n\n * Driving programme and productivity on site\n\nRequirements\n\n * Proven experience working as a Site Engineer within civils / groundworks\n\n * Strong knowledge and experience of QA processes and paperwork\n\n * Competent setting out engineer with experience using a TS16\n\n * Experience on large drainage schemes\n\n * Knowledge of sheet piling\n\n * Ability to read and work from drawings using AutoCAD\n\n * Valid CSCS Card\n\n * Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering\n\n * Full UK driving licence\n\n * Based in the Midlands or willing to relocate\n\n * Available to start within 1–2 weeks\n\n * Strong communication skills with a proactive attitude\n\n * Ability to work independently and help drive projects forward\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * Long-term secured work (minimum 1 year)\n\n * Major infrastructure project exposure\n\n * Competitive rates/salary\n\n * Opportunity to work with a well-established contractor\n\n * Supportive and professional working environment\n\nIf you are an experienced Site Engineer looking for your next long-term opportunity, we would like to hear from you
