You will also work with cross functional teams to implement and sustain improvement activities within our manufacturing environment.\n\nAs a Skilled General Machinist, you will:\n\nFollowing technical instructions and program manuals to deliver consistent, high-quality machining across a variety of different components and product families.\nOperating a variety of Inspection equipment, both mechanical and electronic.\nInterpreting manufacturing drawings, customer drawings and written specifications.\nAssessment of whether the quality of components produced meet required standards.\nEffective team work to resolve quality issues and ensure work is being completed to plan.\nScope to train and work across a variety of machinesWho we are looking for:\n\nApplicants must have a time served advanced apprenticeship with a minimum of City & Guilds Level 3, National Vocational Qualification (NVQ)/Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) Level 3 or equivalent.
