Sr Product Manager - Tech, Amazon Pay Global Product

Description Description Job summaryThe Amazon Pay team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive a vision of excellence for Amazon Pay's Merchant Registration and Compliance management experience. The ideal candidate for this role is a creative and customer-obsessed, highly analytical and comfortable diving into data, with strong UX, technical and business judgement, a knack for operating in ambiguous problem spaces and a demonstrated ability to influence across teams. Key job responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have end-to-end responsibility for optimizing the merchant registration, compliance, and KYC experience. You will own identifying new opportunities, building a prioritized roadmap, and driving implementation of new products and features with measurable improvements to our merchant experience.Product Managers at Amazon Pay are entrepreneurs at heart. Started in 2015, Amazon Pay is now available in 18 countries, allowing buyers to leverage Amazon’s trusted, convenient, and rewarding wallet for 3rd party purchase experiences online, in-store, and with Alexa.Basic Qualifications Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a productExperience in technical product management, program management or engineeringExperience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a productExperience owning roadmap strategy and definitionExperience with end to end product deliveryTrack record of building results-driven, connected teams6+ years of product management experienceBachelor degree requiredVerbal and written communication skillsAn entrepreneurial mentality; willingness to roll up the sleeves and do whatever is necessary to meet goalsExperience developing tech products and servicesKeen analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases, attention to detail (SQL strongly preferred)Bias for action; ability to juggle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentProven track record driving innovation on behalf of both enterprises and consumersCustomer intuition; demonstrated success in creating innovative and user-friendly digital services and customer-facing featuresPreferred Qualifications MBAExperience in e-commerce, web-based technology products and/or payment servicesExperience with compliance controls, such as KYCExperience in running product experiments and applying product analytics to decision makingUnderstanding and practice with product management methodologies, especially those that support agile software development environmentsAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
