Recruitment Business Partner

£65,000 – 70,000 + Bonus & Bens

Location: City of London (Hybrid – 2 days office)


As Recruitment Business Partner, you’ll deliver an efficient, cost‑effective, and high‑quality recruitment service across the organisation. You will partner with hiring managers end‑to‑end, from scoping roles through to selection, offer management, and onboarding, ensuring an outstanding candidate and manager experience at every stage.


This role suits someone confident operating in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment, who enjoys variety, ownership, and continuous improvement.


Role details:

  • Build trusted, credible relationships with hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
  • Lead the full recruitment lifecycle for roles across all levels.
  • Write compelling job adverts and select the best channels to attract talent.
  • Ensure rigorous, fair, competency‑based selection processes.
  • Source candidates directly using job boards and LinkedIn, including headhunting.
  • Provide constructive candidate feedback and manage offer/rejection processes.
  • Share recruitment best practice and support managers with interview skills.
  • Manage offer letters, contracts, screening checks, and right‑to‑work verification.
  • Coordinate with HR and IT to ensure smooth onboarding for new starters.
  • Maintain engaging and up‑to‑date content across LinkedIn, Glassdoor and job boards.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
  • Ensure appropriate agency terms, supplier processes, and talent pipelines are maintained.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment MI and key spreadsheets.
  • Lead and deliver recruitment‑related projects (e.g., mentoring schemes, early careers, DEI initiatives).


Key Requirements:

  • Experience in an in‑house recruitment role.
  • Experience recruiting within financial services.
  • Strong direct sourcing and headhunting capability.
  • Proven ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Experience managing end‑to‑end recruitment projects.
  • Solid understanding of recruitment principles, ATS systems, and employment legislation.
