Transport Planner

Pertemps Lincoln is currently recruiting for a Transport Planner to join our client's busy distribution warehouse in Lincoln.\n
\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business in a key role supporting the day-to-day transport operation. Working as part of a busy transport and operations team, you'll help ensure deliveries run smoothly by coordinating drivers,vehicles and customer communications.\n

What hours will I be working?\n
\nMonday to Friday 08:30 4:30pm\n
How much will I be paid?\n
\nYou will be paid £15 p/h\n
What will my role be as a Transport Planner?\n
\n Allocate drivers and vehicles for daily deliveries.\n
\n Monitor deliveries and respond to any issues.\n
\n Communicate with drivers and customers.\n
\n Update schedules and routes when required.\n
\n Maintain accurate transport records and reports.\n
What skills and experience do I need?
\n
\n Strong organisational and communication skills.\n
\n Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail.\n
\n Confident using computers and Microsoft Office.\n
\n Able to work well under pressure.\n
\n Previous transport, logistics or customer service experience is essential.\n
